Dear OSD Parents,
Ouachita School District needs your help! At the beginning of this school year we sent home Free/Reduced meal applications. These applications not only allow us to provide your child with FREE breakfast and lunch they also provide much needed funding from the Federal Government. We are a small district with BIG goals. We want to offer better educational opportunities and hire additional staff for our students so we can keep our class sizes as small as possible. Please take time to complete an application even if you think you won’t qualify. These applications are completely secure and only one person in the District will ever see your information. She is bound by confidentiality laws not to speak about any of them.
The application process is very easy and can be found by visiting our District website at Ouachitasd.org and going to the cafeteria tab. Once you select the cafeteria tab please select the “New Free and Reduced Lunch Application” and follow the directions provided. If you would prefer to have a paper copy we will be happy to provide that as well.
Again, this is extremely important and is a win/win for all involved. Thank you for your help with allowing us to provide your child with FREE meals and provide them with the best educational experience in the state.
